The distance run was 5235km (Lima to Rio), it took 73 days and 40 minutes. It was the equivalent of 125 marathons or 8 million strides. 72 km covered every day. Serge ran for 8 hours a day every day. 3000 km were run at an altitude of 4000 meters. 20 pairs of worn-out-shoes, 8000 calories a day...
